About ECS Corporate Citizenship

ECS is proud of our commitment to the community we live in. Recent ECS community involvement events include:

• In June 2010, ECS donated $700 and is a McLean Little League sponsor.
• In January 2010, ECS made a $3,000 contribution to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund to assist in providing immediate relief and long-term support to the Haiti earthquake survivors
• In December 2009, ECS provided hand sanitizer and footballs to be sent to the U.S. troops in Afghanistan
• In December 2009, ECS donated hand sanitizer to an Orlando-based homeless shelter
• In October 2009, ECS made a donation of $500 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
• In September 2009, ECS made a donation of $2,000 to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, a Foundation which provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships for higher education to deserving sons and daughters of Marines and children of former Marines, with particular attention being given to children whose parent was killed or wounded in action.
• In August 2009, ECS made a contribution of $3,500 to the Northern Virginia Family Service for their “Road to Independence Gala.”
• In April 2009, ECS made a donation of $1,500 to the American Red Cross
• In March 2009, ECS made a contribution of $5,000 to Camp Virginia Jaycee in Blue Ridge, Virginia
• In February 2009, ECS made a $2,500 contribution to the American Heart Association.
• In 2008, ECS made a $10,000 contribution to Camp Virginia Jaycee in Blue Ridge, Virginia which assists in providing an outdoor education and recreation experience for persons with special needs
• ECS donated 230 pounds of food in 2008 to Food for Others, the largest distributor of free food directly to people in need in Northern Virginia
• In November 2008, ECS contributed $500 to the Junior Diabetes Research Fund
• In October 2008, ECS contributed $15,000 to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History
• ECS donated $1,000 to the Red Cross Society of China in June 2008 to provide relief of the Wenchuan Earthquake
• On February 25, 2008, ECS made a $5,000 contribution to the American Heart Association
• ECS has made a $10,000 contribution to Camp Virginia Jaycees in Blue Ridge, Virginia to assist in providing outdoor education and recreation experience for children and adults with special needs.
• ECS has made a cash donation in the amount of $5,000 to the Red Cross in support of relief efforts in the Gulf region.
• ECS was a Gold Sponsor, donating $5,000, to the Chip-in for Children with Cancer golf tournament in support of the Lombardi Cancer Institute on May 23, 2005 at the Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, VA.
• ECS sponsored the JayCee's annual B&B Bash in Richmond, VA on February 2, 2005.
• ECS sponsored the 2nd Annual Terry Lynch Memorial Golf Tournament on September 11, 2004 to honor our fallen comrades from 9-11.
• In October 2008, ECS made a $1,000 donation to the City of Hope which will go towards the fight to prevent, treat and ultimately cure cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
• In March 2008, ECS made a $3,000 donation to support the Friends of the National Zoo which will contribute to Zoo renewal, wildlifee ducation, animal care, habitat upgrades, animal keeper training, and conservation programs.
