Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS) announces appointment of George Wilson as President.

Fairfax, VA – Jan 5, 2012 – ECS, a leading mid-sized provider of technology services to the U.S. Federal Government, is pleased to announce the appointment of George Wilson as President of ECS.  

George joined ECS as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer in February 2011.  In 2011, ECS completed two acquisitions, adding over 40 new customers, 320 new employees, and new capabilities such as marine science and engineering, naval architecture, financial program management, cost estimating and analysis, and mission/policy analysis. ECS also closed on a new $50M credit facility.

Prior to joining ECS Mr. Wilson was a member of Stanley Inc.’s Board of Directors and Executive Vice President, helping lead the company to over $900 million in annual revenue until its sale to CGI in September 2010.

ECS Awarded EPA ITS-ACT II Task Order

ECS Awarded EPA OTAQ Task Order

Fairfax, VA – December 2, 2011 - Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), announced today this it was awarded a five-year contract under the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Small Business contract vehicle.  Under this task order, ECS will support the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality Laboratory Operation Division in Ann Arbor, Michigan with Information Technology and Telecommunications Support Services.  The award has a potential value over $4.5 million.

ECS Awarded DHS NOC Senior Advisory Services Task Order


Fairfax, VA – June 3, 2011 – Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a rapidly growing mid-sized provider of professional engineering and information technology services to the US Federal Government, announced the award of its tenth task order under its Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) Prime Contract. This task, valued at over $4 million over 3 years, is to provide the DHS National Operations Center (NOC) with Senior Advisory Services.  ECS will provide technical, analytical, operations and integration support services to senior management officials in operations, policies and procedures to the DHS Operations Coordination Division (OCD), Office of Operations, Coordination and Plans (OPS).

ECS Awarded $155.8 Million Contract by the United States Postal Service for the National Customer Support Center (NCSC)


Fairfax, VA – April 5, 2011 – Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and system engineering services to the Federal Government, announced today that it has been awarded a ten year contract with an estimated award value of $155.8 million if all option periods are exercised from the United States Postal Service for the National Customer Support Center (NCSC) in Memphis, TN.

The main mission of the USPS is to provide cost effective and timely mail delivery.  This mission is dependent upon an Address Management System (AMS), managed by the NCSC to maintain address accuracy and quality.  In 2009, the USPS processed over 177 billion mail pieces, out of which 4 percent were undeliverable, affecting 7.2 billion mail pieces. To face this challenge, the NCSC continues to develop products and services to support the USPS’ mission and it is the goal of the NCSC to provide mailers and the Postal Service with an efficient and quality driven address system.

ECS was selected to support the NCSC’s mission of providing accurate and timely address systems and services. The USPS mission is to provide the nation with reliable, affordable, universal mail services. The requirements of this contract include program management, application development, fulfillment in areas of product duplication and development, warehouse operations and transportation services, administrative support, facilities management and financial control support.

ECS Awarded IRS TIPSS-4 ITS IDIQ Contract

Internal Revenue Service Selects Contractors for Total Information Processing Support Services TIPSS-4 Information Technology Services (ITS)

Fairfax VA – March 14, 2011 - Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government has been awarded an IDIQ contract under  the TIPSS-4 Information Technology Services procurement vehicle with a ceiling price of $1B for a period of 10 years (one base-year and nine one-year options). ECS may bid on task orders to provide technology-related services within the Internal Revenue Service.

The IRS competed its long-time IT services-related suite of indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, called TIPSS-4 ITS, which have a 10-year period of performance (one base-year and nine one-year options). These contracts are the primary procurement vehicles for technology-related services within the Internal Revenue Service and other Treasury bureaus.

Thirty-three companies were selected as prime contractors on this multiple award contract among the industry’s best competitors.  They will be providing support which encompasses a large spectrum of services concerning local microcomputer applications to large-scale integrated legacy systems, and newly developed systems, as well as security services and program management.

The TIPSS-4 ITS contract is designed to provide state of the art, modern technology services throughout the period of performance of the contract.  As one of the selections, Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS) provides information technology services.

George Wilson Joins ECS Executive Team

Fairfax, VA – February 15, 2011 – Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and system engineering services to the Federal Government, announced today that George Wilson has joined ECS as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Mr. Wilson brings more than 20 years of executive and director level experience in the Federal marketplace where he has an outstanding reputation for his leadership, corporate development, and executive skills. Prior to joining ECS, Mr. Wilson was instrumental in the growth of Stanley Inc. from a small, private business of 20 employees and $2 million in revenue to a public company of nearly 6,000 employees and over $900 million in annual revenue. In positions of increasing responsibility, Mr. Wilson organized and led executive level teams responsible for customer relationships, business growth, corporate development, strategic investments, and overall company strategy. Mr. Wilson was a member of Stanley’s Board of president when he supported Stanley’s successful initial public offering in 2006. Mr. Wilson completed key acquisitions, achieved industry leading organic growth, and led Stanley’s strategic operations until the sale to CGI in September 2010.

ECS Awarded $30 Million ITS-EPA II Task Order for Telecomm unications Infrastructure Support

Fairfax, VA – September 7, 2010 -- Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and system engineering services to the Federal Government, announced today that it was awarded a six year, $30 million task order for Local Infrastructure Support under its Information Technology Services-Environmental Protection Agency (ITS-EPA II) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

Telecommunications systems are incredibly important to all federal agencies and programs, and we are delighted to provide this critical infrastructure support to the facilities located throughout the Washington, DC metro area,” said Roy Kapani, ECS President and CEO.

ECS will provide services and support for the EPA telecommunications systems, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Wireless Networks, Video Services, Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) and In-building Distributed Antenna System support. These services will support over 6,000 EPA employees located in the Federal Triangle complex, Potomac Yard, and several facilities within the District.

ECS Awarded $9.4 Million ITS-EPA II Task Order for Specialized Onsite Services

EPA Awards ECS with Information Technology Support Task Order to Support the Information Resources Management Division (IRMD)

Fairfax, VA – December 22, 2009 -Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and system engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, announced today that it was awarded a seven year, $20 million task order under its Information Technology Services-Environmental Protection Agency (ITS-EPA II) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The scope of this contract is to provide information technology support to the EPA’s Information Resources Management Division (IRMD) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. ECS and its subcontractors, CACI and IndigoIT, will provide IRMD with the following support services: applications and web development support, data telecommunications support, facility controls system support, local area network administration, graphics support, lotus notes server administration support, local computer systems support and online library support.

ECS AWARDED WITH DHS NOC COP IT ENHANCEMENTS CONTRACT

Fairfax, VA – September 30, 2009 -Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, announced today that it was awarded a three year $9.6 million task order under its Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) Prime Contract for the DHS National Operations Center (NOC) Common Operational Picture (COP) information technology (IT) enhancements. This is ECS' eighth DHS EAGLE contract award. ECS, along with its subcontractors, The Boeing Company and ArdentMC, will provide all IT enhancements and additional analytical capability to the current DHS NOC to infuse evolving technologies for incident information management, decision support, distribution, and display.

U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Awards ECS System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Contract

Fairfax, VA – August 10, 2009 -Electronic Consulting Services, Inc., (ECS), a leading provider of information technology and system engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, announced today that it was awarded a 5 year $270.6 million SETA contract with the U. S. Army PEO STRI. ECS will provide systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) in the areas of acquisition and financial management, engineering, modeling and simulation, test planning and management, logistics management, military operations, training systems and instrumentation development to the PEO STRI, other U.S. Government agencies worldwide, and state and local agencies. In addition, ECS will provide support for all aspects of responsive integrated and interoperable infrastructure for Simulation, Training, Testing, and Instrumentation Solutions and Acquisition Services for Warfighters and the Nation. ECS will lead a contractor team with the support of MCR, LLC and Washington Consulting Government Services, Inc., to provide this support in Orlando, FL, Huntsville, AL, and other U.S. Army locations worldwide.
